Percentage of splicing variants detected in each exon. Most of the samples present canonic splicing (72% of all splicing). However, there is a 26% of cases in which two peaks are found. This phenomenon, with the standardized technique, is associated with the presence of non-canonical splicing. This percentage is especially important in the IE3-4, IE5-6 and IE6-7 regions. Triple peaks were also detected in a total of 10 samples (Additional file 1: Table S1)
