A cut-off value of ±1.5 was used to distinguish between proteins similarly expressed in aerobic and anaerobic conditions (−1.5 ≤ ratio ≤ + 1.5) from proteins comparatively more expressed (ratio > + 1.5 and < − 1.5). When the same protein was found in both fractions, only the spot with higher ratio, consisting with the most represented protein, was included
