Direct effect of ATO and ATRA on neutrophil ROS production in vitro is not statistically significant. Neutrophils isolated from healthy donors were exposed in vitro to ATO (A) and ATRA (B). They were then activated by PMA, and ROS production was measured for three hours and calculated as the AUC. There was a tendency of decreased ROS production with increased levels of ATO and ATRA, but the values were not significantly different as determined using a one-way ANOVA test
